Awesome place with free Wi-Fi, a cozy bar lounge, and delicious dining options. The friendly staff helped me with my suitcases during my first stay. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to return this year.

missingWrote a review on 12 Septdim lighting
Despite the pet-friendly claims, dining options become tricky as dogs aren't allowed in the restaurant, forcing you into a packed bar area instead—a bit of a letdown when you’re looking for a proper meal. The room lighting leaves much to be desired. not enough bulbs coupled with the window positioning makes it quite dim. the pebble effect bathroom flooring feels uncomfortable after a long day on the trails. it’s a minor nuisance but worth noting. Lastly, navigating the steep, narrow stairways can be a hassle, especially for folks with less mobility.

Had an amazing time with my friends at this lovely hotel! We enjoyed exploring the South West Coast Path and the old mineral tramroads nearby. The staff were super friendly, and the pub had great local vibes. Breakfast was spot on, and they even had a cozy beer garden. Definitely the place to be for a fun getaway!
We did find that the kitchen was closed during our stay, which was a bit of a letdown. the pop-up kitchen served great food on Sunday, so it balanced out.

I stayed in a Twin Room and it was really comfy. The room was clean and had some lovely teas and coffee options. The decor was modern, which made it feel welcoming. Plus, the dog bed and treats for my pup added a nice touch! Just a few steps from the beach too. Honestly, I had a great night’s sleep on that bed. No complaints at all!

Great spot for families!
We had a lovely time! The staff were super chill and helped us with our bags. The twin room was comfy with all the usual stuff. Clean shared bathroom was just down the hall. The breakfast was delish, but the dinner menu had too many spicy options for my taste. Great parking too.

Perfect spot for family getaways
We received a very warm welcome at this family run hotel. The bar atmosphere was convivial, making our evening relaxing after a day of exploring. Breakfast was top-notch with loads of local produce, and we even got supplied plates for our takeaway, which was a nice touch!
It wasn’t cheap, but still acceptable.
